So I was looking online at Microsoft for a genogram template because I have this huge assignment I have to do for class and have to interview a family, hey... any takers please step right up! And I was searching the different templates. Came across this beauty. Feel free to download. (For all the moms and dads out there)

Parent/Child Cell Phone Rules and Responsibilities Contract

In exchange for the privilege of having and using a cell phone, provided by my parents, I agree to the following:
·          I will clean all 3 bathrooms 1 time per month (Ethan: 1st weekend of the month. Zachary: 3rd weekend of the month.) I will clean them according to my parent’s specifications. I will do a great job, and not try to shortcut the job, or else I will have to redo them. If I do not complete this task by Sunday night on my assigned weekend, I will lose my cell phone for the following week and will still be required to complete the task.
·          I will keep phone in the designated location when it is not in use.
·          I will always answer my phone when my parents call me.
·          I will not disable or enable any setting on my phone without permission.
·          I will be respectful of the families shared minutes. [Remember evening minutes, after 7pm & weekend minutes are unlimited.]
·          I will be financially responsible for any expense I incur with my cell phone; even if it was not intentional. [Remember, when in doubt, ask!]
·          I will not use my cell phone at school, unless there is a specific need for it, and my parents have given me permission to do so.
·          I will not EVER use my cell phone to break rules and/or laws at home, at school or anywhere. [Some examples are, but not limited to: cheating on tests, deceiving my parents as to my location, helping a friend cheat or deceive their parents, etc.]

My parents reserve the right to make exceptions to this contract at their sole discretion.
My parents also reserve the right to modify, update or add to this contract at anytime. I will have the opportunity to review any changes they make and if I do not agree to their terms, then I will give up my cell phone.
If I choose to give up my cell phone because I am unhappy with their terms and/or consequences, I agree to pay them $5 per week until the end of their 2 year contract. I understand that if say at anytime that I give up my cell phone, it will lose it for a minimum of 1 week, and be required to pay them $5, even if I really didn’t mean it.

Is there really a difference?

Can someone tell me a difference between these drinks? There are a lot of chemicals in each for starters. Some mind/body altering substances, sure. All of them are bad for you in a sense. I was just thinking about this tonight as I was doing my homework wishing I had one of the three stimulating beverages. Sometimes we get so caught up in ourselves and our busy lives that we lose our sense of judgement. I never would have thought to partake of any of these three years ago. I used to be a bottled water girl. But in the end... I was always taught when I was younger that all this stuff was bad for me. So is there really a difference?

Homework and the wii fit. So tonight, I am ready to take a nap... who said anything about homework? If I am going to do anything productive it is going to be playing the new wii fit. Yes I know I am not ten. I do love entertainment though. which brings me to my next thought of the night. Remember super nintendo? With the gray controls plugged into the big gray machine? I used to play all over the place subconsciously thinking that if I moved my controller around side to off kilter and up and maneuver my body a little I would make it over the marioland gap or pass the luigi mariokart. Now... 2012... Nintendo is pretty much making fun of those people like me. Making games all interactive:

Boss man: "Well people, any ideas as to market to the population we lost in the 90's?"
Bob schmob: "How bout make it so they can move the controller and it actually does something so they don't feel like an idiot and can pass a level/game that way!"

Boss man: "Great idea Bob! A million dollars for you!"
Bob Schmob: "wiiiiiiii!! I am rich!"
Joe Schmo: "Great name man!.... wii"

And there is my sass for the night, *curtsy* I bid you farewell.

Ode to Etta

When I was a young girl... I loved to sing. I never knew the types or genres until I was about ten when rock was dead and country took over my radio (I know shoot me now) but around that time I became aware of musicality as a way of expression and not just be-bop duwopidop-bahhhh. or Twang mahhh girlfriend left me for cowboys and cornbellys twang. Those of you that know me well and those of you that go way back know I can't sing. :)) But hear me out. I love soul. Coffeehouse, bluesy, sing-your-heart-out-to-me soul. And if I were to pin point old school R&B that makes me want to belt it out and really sing it's Miss Etta James, born Jamesetta Hawkins. She passed away yesterday 1/20/12  from an ongoing infection and alzheimers. She lived a really struggling life and proved that fame doesn't always lead to awesome choices. But none-the-less, she did perform a rad cover that will forever be hers. At Last What a classic song and an awesome voice! Now that you have this song in your head, let's have a moment of silence...

Alright! Next.., the homework is done for tonight. blechhhhhh. :) but look on the bright side, I will be done that much sooner. And its easy-busy work. lol

House situations are a beastly monster as I see it. I am working very hard to get everything in order and save my all to get a house this spring. I got a rent increase letter in the mail yesterday. Ok please re-sign another lease but pay us $60 more than the arm and leg we make you pay already. In this economy. I am already broke. How agitating. Looks like I need to get a second job! Well I work nights. So hmmm... only places that are open this hour of the nights are nightclubs, bars, strip-clubs, and Walmart. Slim pickins. But desperate times calls for desperate measures. Efff. I had a real estate guy, I thought I did. but we haven't been anywhere and I haven't had really any help from him at all except here look at this site and call this guy. I need someone to call me and say, "get your ass out of bed and meet me at this place. It meets all of your checks, or most of them,!" And then we look a few other places, agree on a price. Sign some crap. I say sayonara to over priced rent and no garage and land on my perch... where Puma and I can rest easy. I am soooo tired of wishing.

But alas, I will be spending some time tonight cleaning this apt. I need to start packing and cleaning. My clothes are everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Dear motivation, make an appearance in my overpriced apt tonight. Sincerely, me

pinterest the black hole

Once upon a time I discovered a photographer, who led me to believe I could follow my own talents, who then led myself explore...followed by doing. Then it was created... the black hole. It has inspired me beyond words. But tonight I am going to stay on the perkier side of the diet coke. Last night at work, I wished I was home on my pinterest playing 'pick the favorite pics' instead of bawling about this stupid nevermind... anyway. Its funny. There is thisssssss........ much space to say whatever about the pic. I decided that I have to remind myself why these are my favs, care to read or peruse me...

So when I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to grow up and be a fashion designer and a model. And a doctor. All in one! I love everything about this dress. I wrote this big long sassyfrastic speech before it all got erased like a half hour ago about it. SO long farewell. In the post "If I ever got remarried, I kid you not this would be my wedding dress." Yup true story. I love Pinterest for high fashion pins and posts.

So this outfit is perfectly put together. The top is feminine and love the back. The eye make-up. The pony. She is ready to walk down the street to this song : santogold: shove it "I pay for what its called eccentricity and my wish to evolve. I tell you I got fire Ayyyyiyahayhhhhh" Yeah! Love this! Thank you Pinterest for making me realize skinny is HOT! And I too can be skinny. lol

K blake lively. Totally pretty, happy, beautiful, full of energy and love the blonde hair. She is always so perfect. I love how Pinterest has the pin button to pin your fav/pretty celebs to shell out their fashionista side secrets and such.

Photographers and models can really get their creative groove on the Pinterest. Innocently really. This contrast is amazing. I am a lover of light. And the post process of this shot is just stunning. Ps that is a rose from a cabbage. cool huh?

Fooood recipes and much more. Thank you Pinterest for making my google searches on recipes and mixers I really would fowl up anyway. Now I don't even have to google 'how to make a turkey dinner casserole" Someone already did! And posted the secret recipe on the not so secret black hole! MMMMM ps this is creamy cheesy cauliflower soup from Zupas. Shhhh

Last but not least, in my world of the pinning district: HAIR DO'S. I especially love this. Thank you Pinterest for keeping me up-to-date on the latest fashion head trends. As soon as it gets warm enough or as soon as I have a chance to visit Manhattan again, I intend on doing this. Thank you as well long mangled scraggly hair for providing me the opportunity
well, Speaking of New York, yes. I am keeping everyone in the dark. Goodnight.
And I have Carpel Tunnel from having to re-write this whole post which is not as wicked funny or intersting as the first dangit. But you get my drift. Now sign up already.

these are a few of my favorite things...

Cute cupcakes! I really don't like eating them. I loooove making them. For any occasion. Or for just because. :) Aren't these sooo pretty? Ahhh I just love them. A few years ago I wished I had a cupcakery and then loooook now they are everywhere. But these are pretty. Mine are usually botched somehow!

I love ART! We have already established that before.

Doing my hair up: like this... my job required me to have my hair up anyway.
http://www.hairstyle-blog.com

                 mimi's cafe french onion soup

ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
2 quarts homemade beef stock or 4 cans (14 oz) beef broth & 1 can beef consommé (undiluted)
2 lb yellow onions, halved and sliced 1/2" wide
1/4 cup freshly ground Romano cheese

salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

preparation

Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed pot and sauté the onions over medium-low heat until they soften and turn golden brown (keep stirring and adjust the heat so they don't burn). Add the beef stock and simmer 10 minutes. Whisk the grated cheese into the soup and season with salt and pepper to taste.

To serve French Market Onion Soup "Au Gratin," pour into ovenproof soup crocks. Top with toasted, sliced French bread and sliced or grated cheese (Gruyere, Mozzarella, Swiss or Parmesan, or any combination thereof). Broil until the cheese melts and carefully remove from the oven.

Lauren Conrad, the LC http://www.laurenconrad.com/
There's so many cool tips and ideas there. Plus she is like super NOT Heidi. So that's a bonus there.

Brandon came to my house the other day with his Droid just giggling like a little kid. "You have to see this haha!" I was like, "whaaaa?" Now I can''t stop watching. The dog owner is hilarious. I want a doggy like this. :)

I love getting a massage. mmmmmmm I am often tense and chomp down my jaws like I am gonna eat my own teeth. At www.wholeliving.com I found this tip :
Massaging Your FaceThis is a great way to loosen muscles scrunched into habitual expressions. "This brings blood to the surface, clears out puffiness, and reduces fatigue in the skin," says Chris Haas, owner of Ra Organic Spa in Burbank, California. Don't have time for an appointment? At home, all you need is the following ingredients for a facial serum. Barbara Close, founder of Naturopathica, recommends a base of evening primrose and avocado oils with rose geranium, lavender, and German chamomile essential oils for dry skin, or apricot kernel oil with juniper, lemon, and rosemary oils for oily skin. How? Starting at the chin, move your hands in small circles and continue to the cheeks, around the eyes, and to the forehead. By doing this, you're stimulating circulation and bringing more nutrients to the skin. Follow with a warm compress to increase the absorption of the serum.

hmmm. lets see. The last thing I will share tonight. Sleep. Which being a little under the weather will require more of that. Its kinda hard to sleep with my sched a little skiwompous and missing a comforter now but its a necessity. Oh 3 am you are cruel.

sweetest sheep counting! xoxo, me

netflix schmetflix

I will say this,
I am being punished for staying in bed all day.  Netflix is really pathetic. There is not a dang thing worth actually spending time watching. (The B boy is sick and now I am sick.) He's out cold and I am home, AWAKE. Spent like 4 hours today looking at homes on my comp I can't afford, EVER. And working on homework for a degree that won't do me a lick on financial justice, actually will put me into a little burden of debt if you will. And Netflix brings me no relief, no sense of temporary distraction. Reality tv is really the only thing worth thinking of clicking play. REALITY. hahaha! I am paying to watch reality. Oh dear. And how's this... High School Musical 2 is 'A famil' Drama' teehehe! I need a life.
I'd rather watch dumb tv commercials like this one that teaches society men really ARE clueless and dumb. Its so stupid. Don't push play. ;)

On a much happier note: I am still gainfully employed and have my health and mental status so that's good. Hold on while I find something on the Netflix for noise distraction. Besides, Puma is bored.
OK settled on National Geographic BABIES. I might as well learn more about what I take care of.
:) The statistics and education on the video are uncanny. They are smart little suckers. I am actually watching school for free and for no requirement. And I like it? What the heck?

yahoo wahoo!

Freak! Finally. After ten days of whining and bljkahskjsgdjagdasanh-ing like a spoiled little girl... I got the WWW back. I didn't realize how much I need the internet in BIG form. I have to stay up late today because I work tomorrow night. I feel so dis-social. Like a teen nerd who spends all their time in books and space movies... instead I am sleeping. hehe! But whatevs. Pay your dues I say, time will come!
Look what my hottie bought me for Just Because Holiday!
How cute is that!?! Its quite entertaining actually and a different workout than my gym training. ANDDDD I am sure my neighbors LOVE me haha payback!
If you want one you can get it at amazon or walmart!

Anyway, I have been a busy little bee working on many projects:
School
Work
Crafty crafts and photography
House hunting

So, I love how the Utah lawmakers are debating about liquor licensing laws. Making it less available to buy it as to help become "less impulsive with alcohol buying." I think they should let these dumb retard drinkers do what they want. They will just find a way to get it anyway. Why?  "Oh we don't want our children seeing it!" Uh doesn't mean you can't just educate them on it. Alcohol=bad kids. If you drink it, your tongue will fall off and your head will surely explode!  ← Duh tell them that. We are not a sheltered community! That's PROVO! hehe and the Quakers.  ← (no offense to the simple folk) I dunno. I don't really care. I would never buy beer anyway. Nastayyy! Might lead to insanity! Like this:

See my point?

On another note... I looooove my new studio lighting equipment. This stuff ain't cheap. Noooo no. Super excited to play with it though. Took some shots of my cat. Yeah I am THAT lady. My roommate is my kitty Puma. What? He's stinkin cute. And I took a couple of the B boy. He's so hot!
I shot this one when he was taking his jacket off because it was too hot with the lights. Maybe it works? What do you think?
I might post a few more on the F-book. I need to read for class so I can wonder you with a "WHAT I AM LEARNING" post. You know you want to learn something interesting. Today, my $109 book on phys exam and assessment we are learning about nursing diagnosis! what the hell? I thought we never had to do another one EVER. I graduated from that crap. But let me entertain nonetheless.

Here are the steps: lets borrow our legislatures future worry as an example...

  • assess: alcoholism symptoms and history blahdiblahhh
  • diagnose: so I would say, risk for bumps and bruises from drunken  falling off bar stools...
  • plan: drink less?
  • implement: so like how I help this fool: vote yes on the availability restriction of booze
  • evaluation: is this person stumbling less?

Now you try! ;)

lack of the interweb...

Lack of the interweb hinders the mind rambling blog process. I have not been ignoring you oh sweet blog. Infact I have been taking pics and thinking a ton. But alas. School has begun and night shifts have managed to take over my life. So there you go. "Priorities danielle," my dad would always say. Anyway I guess I could have blogged on my celly phone but this is quite annoying actually. I get my Internet back tomorrow. Long story. Stupid century link. Ugh. In the meantime i am going to study my physical exam nursing and social policies, work on editing some pics, watch some 30 Rock, and enjoy Zumba on the new Wii! :) sweet dreams. Ps dear Jason Bourne, thank you for starring in 30 rock <3
