Good boys?

Gyms have more mirrors than a freaky funhouse. I swear even today was full of selfie taking, ab admiring men. Or boys. If you prefer. Lol And I've been on a record number of dates for myself this month. Holy crap. But I gotta tell ya... Enough with the first dates already. I feel like my dbag sensors have gone into stand by mode. Where have all the good guys gone? This girl pretty much sums up how I feel anymore. Plus it's a catchy tune. Enjoy!

Here's to fairy tales and gingers.

10/24/15 So. Last night.. I met the man I swear someday I'm going to to marry. Just have to tell someone. His name to be secret. He is Tall 6'3" which I love. He is a strawberry blonde... A ginger! And he has a smile that melts me into pieces. Major crush here. You all know this truth is crazy talk. Cuz I never talk like this. Here's to hoping for my fairytale. u

Dating just to date.

It seems nowadays that everybody's just dating to date and everyone is just dating everyone. *sigh* there's no such thing as monogamy anymore and you can forget a second date. Besides him being on the prowl for the next best thing, it seems that anybody who is anybody is all about quantity not quality. For instance, I meet/swipe guys who I think have a good smile and a great little intro on their tinder profile, and then it turns out they're just in town for a business trip, just looking to hook up cuz they're bored. Don't get me wrong I know tinder is just a game but so is dating in general anymore. I guess the jokes on me for being open-minded and hopeful. Most of the time I think these guys just talk to you because they want to boost their ego a little more knowing that another cute girl swiped right. So I joined match.com again for one month to give it a trial since I haven't been on for over year. And I can't even tell you how it's just the same thing as tinder... And yet I paid for the app with match.
On a similar note I asked a very close guy friends what he thinks my problem is with dating and you want to know what his reply was? "Hey, let me see your tinder profile for just a second." As I handed him my phone and noted he was looking quite intently at my photos, he said, "maybe you don't look like your photos to the guy when they meet you. I'm not saying you're a catfish and tricking them into not being who you say you are and look like who you show you look like online but us guys like fit women who wear make up." Note: I was in sweats and had no makeup on. Lol
So that leaves me here, is it really all about looks. Am I doomed because I'm not blonde and skinny and don't chalk up my entire face with black and bronze. That always seems to be my hold up, but I never feel good enough for another guy let alone, even myself. What makes me more upset is that most of these men online are trolling (like a little fisherman)… If you get my drift so no wonder why there are landing a bunch of catfish (who by the way are making a bad name for us women thank you very much.) because when you fish in a pond that is so full of the same thing, you're going to get the same thing. And women are definitely just trying to impress you men just like you are ya with your shirtless gym selfies and dirt bike wheelie shots.
And you can forget about asking a girl on a date, it's now just,"hey, do you want to just go out for a quick drink or a cup of coffee?" There is no more wine and dine. Because to be honest with you what kind of man has that much money to be wining and dining so many women on their tinder list? These guys don't have a lot of money anyway so I can see the rationale for wanting to go cheap because it's quantity not quality. And a girl of quality is going to get a good screening before and the guys going to realize that she's actually worth his time and not just another appointment to squeeze in over coffee. So I end this rant, and bid you farewell and good luck this week in their dating endeavors.

Helpful advice: Do not put out!
Whatever you do hold fast to the 90 day rule girls. If a guy is worth your time and really is into you...he will be willing to wait until you're ready. Make him work for it i'm not even kidding you because you're just another notch in his belt buckle and if it's that easy... chances are you're not the only girl he's currently sleeping with. And you say STDs? Gross. Just remember what we were talking we were little: ALL BOYS HAVE COOTIES!!

Date night what?

OK guys so you have to know that girls especially single girls, share. No, not like you're thinking because you're a guy and you have a dirty, dirty mind. No we do not share pillows...no we do not share boyfriends... no we do not share showers or bras or straws or Chapstick or any other weird Phalic thing you think. But we do share secrets, tips, warnings, eff up stories, and poor stupid human male behavior. Yes I am talking about dating. As a whole... Women read each others blogs, text stories, call about gossip, cry on each others shoulders, and blast about you at work to our coworkers. We cry over you at night. We hit the gym harder to get that killer booty. We even dedicate a new Taylor swift song about you in our head. And belt out in the car! But mostly. We learn lessons. Yes. Lessons. Because history repeats itself it's hard to actually remember all the lessons we learn the first time around. But believe you me... Lessons even though they may hurt, they build strength and instill determination. The stories and trials and shit we put up with while dating actually help us learn how to better our screening process. I know why I am single. I am so picky!!! I know better... Because I have learned from experience and I just don't want to make that mistake again. Now I  get it... You think I'm just bitter but you could be so far from the truth! I am very hopeful and still hold faith that my timing is just off. But look at all the heart ache we may have saved our fellow sisterhood by b*tching and griping about all the dbags we encounter and share our survival methods!
We are brain washed as small girls that boys are mean cuz they "are just being boys". They are just gonna be rough with you and "tease you cuz they have a crush on you." Which is also false. Boys that are mean are never gonna change. They just grow up to be a mean man. So please girls just keep swimming in this mucky water pond cuz eventually the duds will float to the top and get flushed by society. Leaving the good ones to be snatched up by an equally deserving gal. Ok dolls. NEVER SETTLE! Ever. And for giggles sake please continue to share about your dating yays and nays! Hashtag tinderswipeleft. Goodnight

Holly Golightly

Sometimes I feel just like Holly in Breakfast at Tiffany's. No one gets me. I am so independent, almost too much for my own good. And as for guys, I wish there was a paul varjak... or fred, dear fred as she calls him. Wheres my fred baby? Someone to run shenanigans with and to talk to about my worries and dreams! And who doesn't care about my morning after hair... or my cat(s).

Oh and today was day 1 of the Emily Skye F.I.T. program. Eat and workout... gotta stay on track and prep and work! Day 1 success...

Date deets. Different guy. Different day.

You have girls flocking to you at every church/singles event. You NEED the attention.

You sent me multiple selfies to my cell and begged for some in return. I owed you apparently. Here's a selfie *flipping bird*

You obsess about the game. Everyone hates you according to your paranoia. But honestly. You bring on all your frenemies yourself.

You live in California. And visit here on business trips? What am I a potential booty call? Maybe I should be flattered.

Third times a charm? You failed two first date chances and ask for a third? hmmm..

Your mom told you I was too old to date you? and then you tell me this.... can you say mommy issues?

You sent me like five shirtless pics with a very hot bod... but how many other women got that same pic? Just think about that
