Summer 2014

Lighting this summer has been a challenge because we have used studio lighting and cant use Photoshop etc.
I have a couple shoots with lighting and have to use fill cards and black cards to block light in order to get the perfect yummy light. Its all about the camera and tethering to lightroom for an instant view of the shoot. Pretty fun if you ask me. I might like commercial photography. Enjoy!

For photo 2 I have been working super hard on projects. The final 6 images will be a huge project. Mostly because I am trying to get the perfect image. This is the non-photo artist that is my inspiration for the final. Edgar Degas and his painting of dancers at play. Notice the light is directional and in front. I have ti turn it in B&W.

Spring 2014

"These are the SHOES of my Favorite things": Photo Vision Final 

I created a kaleidoscope to assist me in my creative thunder for my final in photo 1 class. I had a few extra glow sticks left over and decided to turn a black light on them. I stuck the glass triangles inside a light tight rubber tube and voila!

"Illuminati"

This picture was taken with f/22 @1/1000 on a 35 mm film camera using transparency film. What a beautiful day to take a picture of the temple during the tulip days.

This photo has super significant meaning to me. I spent a lot of time at my grandpas house as a kid and he always had snacks and drinks... out of these glasses. 

The 'star cups'

The assignment: lines. Simple. Beautiful.

This was 35 mm film scanned into the computer. Gorgeous picture of doors. There is something about this shot.

There was a narrative piece and I decided to take it to the next level by creating a scene from
