Day 11: Something Blue

So I really wanted to take a picture of a Tiffany & Co. Box. I love that store and I LOOOOOVE that color, but I haven't received a gift from that store yet, so sadly, no box... hint. hint. hint. Anyway, second favorite blue is sapphire blue. Like this amazing blue bottle of delicious moscato dessert wine. I decided to place it in the window and get a little glow effect. But I will be posting a bonus pic of a Tiffany box as soon as I get my hands on one! Enjoy! Gotta go to beddy by because I work again tomorrow!

Gotta get my beauty rest on. Anyone who is anyone knows I am kuuuuhhhraaaaannnkyyyy when I get shorted hours of much needed solid sleep. :) No one wants ME cranky!

Day 10 of 30 day photo challenge: Childhood Memory

So today, I happened to have off of work! Yay for days off. Ran some errands. Went to the gym. Got a starbucks... and took this awesome pic. I racked my brain for a pic idea for this memory shoot. I thought of a park where we would go when I was little. But I couldn't find it... maybe I made it up in my head! LOL! I decided to choose something in my studio, sitting there waiting for me to acknowledge its existence. My violin. I had played from the age 10 to 21. Wow. I can't believe what a beautiful piece of craftsmanship it is! made me smile just looking at it. My grandpa put me in lessons for years. My dad and grandpa came to all my performances, recitals, concerts, and musicals! I was so happy when I played. I was sad when I pulled my violin out to take this pic, my bow was shot. Hairs all over. So I need to get it re-haired. I can't wait to post this picture! So many memories come with it. I loved playing! Hope you like it!

Day 9: Someone I love!

So today's picture challenge was of someone I love. I really love all my family and friends!! But yesterday, I had the opportunity to play with my little niece Ellie. We played in my apt pool. Then she said she wanted to play in the studio...  we took like 50 pictures. This is my favorite! Maybe because it is the same face I make like everyday!!! LOL This kid has such a personality!

Day 8 of photo challenge: Bad Habit

So I decided I wanted to do a self portrait of me biting my nails because I have done that since I was maybe five years old. A very bad nervous habit. But I spent the majority of the day at the pool. Changed for kickball. Then attended a bbq for dinner. So needless to say, the procrastinator side of me won yet again. But... I am not leaving you empty handed, oh no. I decided since I like the pic from Becky I posted earlier, I would make that my bad habit. Although technically alcohol abuse isn't a bad habit, it is a sickness. But nonetheless, a wicked awesome pic of a wicked awesome drunkyyyyy. Love ya B! Thanks for the great friendship. xo B

Day 7: some fruit!

So I am a procrastinator, by heart. Its a cross I have to bear. This challenge is more challenging than I thought... We spent most of Sunday frolicking down town at library square for the arts festival 2011. Had a blasty. Even got my facey painted like I was five! lol I really love art. But I neglected to remember that I had a job to do. TAKE PICTURES!!! I took a few but didn't get a fruit shot yet, it was seconds to 11 pm. My friend Em said," hey I work for a restaurant why don't we go over there. I am sure they could find some fruit." SOLD!!! We walked in, I forgot my face was pink and purple all over. Oh well, I look retarded but what can I do? The restaurant was called Ruth Chris. A very nice place to wine and dine. Here is a pick from the bar. Day 6 of the photo challenge: From a Low Angle (late! oops!)

So I worked like three straight days in a row and when I came home last night, I fell asleep. Like at 9 pm haha! I love work though so I guess its what I give up if I want a cool job. :) So I decided for Day 6 (from a low angle) to put a pic from my december NYC trip. I love Manhattan, especially in the magical time of Christmas! What a cool experience. My besties momma took me. It was like I was a spoiled only child! She did all the sight seeing with me! I love my surrogate momma Susan! So here are two of my favorite pics form the trip from a low angle. (because Everything in Manhattan is built UP anyway! :)

This is considered midtown, where Macys is! I loved the city rushing experience. :))

 

 

 

The soon-to-be NEW GROUND ZERO twin towers. They are putting a monument fountain on each basement where the two towers went down and building up around it! Such a cool experience to see the new towers in the making!!

Day 5: From a high angle

So I decided to make this one an easy one because I am sooo tired of working. SOOOO tired and I just want to go to bed... But this pic is of my best friend and baby. Puma. I have had Puma loo for about four years. He was one of two babies from my marriage. Sad day. I miss my other baby, Houston. But Puma was returned to me a year ago. I love him so much. And he is one beautiful baby boy. :) Here's day 5, from a high angle, although he usually sleeps on my bed at equal angle. lol

Day 4 of photo challenge: Something Green

 So there is definitely green in this pic of graffiti that I took. The color pallet is just stunning!

I actually edited this grafitti pic last night while watching SYTYCD! I loooove that show. But sadly, I was unable to sleep really at all last night. Work was so awesome but a big struggle cuz I was so tired.Oh I love saving babies! I love it! And I love this dance show. ADDICTED!! 

So lately I have been hanging with my besty. I have missed her stinkin guts! Its so nice to catch up and play! :)
